- The cost of a residence permit with professional support has five parts: consultation, case handling priced by quote, government fees, translations and documents, and consular charges and the authority’s requirements.
- Government fees are paid to the state separately from services and are set by regulation: for example, €73.26 for a first DNV application and €16.08 for a first TIE [1][2].
- The first 15 minutes of a ReloVictory consultation are free; a full 45-minute consultation costs €121.
- ReloVictory prices case handling individually by quote, which the client signs before work begins; 50% is paid upfront before work starts and 50% before filing.
- Corrections and resubmission are included in the price, an appeal is not, and the company is not responsible for how long the authorities take to respond.
What makes up the cost of getting a residence permit?
It is made up of several cost items, each with its own recipient and its own logic. There is no single “turnkey residence permit” price: it depends on the route, the family composition and the volume of documents. So below we describe the cost structure rather than one overall amount.
| Item | Who you pay | How it is set |
|---|---|---|
| Consultation | ReloVictory | 15 minutes free, full 45-minute consultation €121 |
| Case handling | ReloVictory | individually by quote before work begins; 50% before starting and 50% before filing |
| Government fees (tasas) | the state | set by regulations and the authorities’ forms, paid separately [1][2] |
| Translations and apostilles | translators and authorities in the issuing countries | paid separately, depend on the number and language of the documents |
| Consular visa fee | the consulate | at the consulate’s rate in local currency [3] |
| Insurance and other requirements of the authority | the insurer and other organisations | depend on the authority’s conditions and your choice |
Which government fees are paid separately?
Fees are paid directly to the state using modelo 790 or tasa 038. Any quote should show them on a separate line, so it is clear what goes to the state and what goes to services. The main amounts are listed below; the amounts under Orden PJC/617/2025 of 13 June 2025 may be indexed at the start of the year by the budget law, so check them against the form before paying [1].
| Procedure | Fee |
|---|---|
| DNV, first application to the UGE | 73,26 € [2] |
| DNV, renewal | check on the authority’s page |
| TIE, first issue | 16,08 € [1] |
| First residencia temporal, general regime | 10,94 € [1] |
| Renewal of residencia temporal | 16,40 € [1] |
| Arraigo | 38,28 € [1] |
| Larga duración | 21,87 € [1] |
Forms and codes: what modelo 790 is and how to pay the fee. For employment there is an additional fee for the work permit, paid by the employer: €203.84 if the salary is below two SMI and €407.71 if it is two SMI or more [1]. The DNV renewal amount is not in the table: the UGE page only confirms the amount for a first application [2].
What does case handling include and what not?
We handle the case until the authority’s final decision. Corrections and resubmission are included in the price. Not included are an appeal, meaning a challenge to the decision, and fees and translations: these are paid separately. The company is not responsible for how long the authorities take to respond, because both the decision and its timing belong to the authority. The decision to grant the permit is taken by the authority; paying for support does not affect it.
How do you compare case-handling offers?
The same figures in two quotes do not mean the same amount of work. Before paying, check:
- Which procedure is meant, what it is called in Spanish and on what grounds the application is filed.
- Whether case handling continues until the authority’s decision or ends at filing.
- Whether corrections and resubmission are included if the authority requests documents.
- Whether an appeal against a refusal is included and how much it costs separately.
- Whether fees and translations are shown on separate lines and which modelo they are paid with.
- What the payment schedule is and who handles the legal side: check that the lawyer has a bar association membership number.
More on choosing who helps you: do you need a lawyer to apply for a residence permit.
Why don't we quote a single price?
Because it depends on your case: the route, the number of family members, whether you apply from Spain or through a consulate, and how many documents need to be prepared. The quote is drawn up individually and signed before work begins. The first 15 minutes of a consultation are free: you can use them to discuss which cost items apply to your case. You can book a consultation through the form on the website; how it works is described in the article residence permit consultation in Barcelona. The general procedure for each route is on the page residence permit in Barcelona, and the step-by-step route for digital nomads is in the DNV route card.
