About the company and the team

Are you a law firm?
No. ReloVictory is a relocation centre: we organise the move and handle the contract, the quote and communication with you. The legal side is handled by our team’s lawyer, and tax and administrative matters by a tax and administrative specialist (graduada social), under a cooperation agreement. Our founder, Victoria, has a legal education but is not a lawyer.
Who handles my case?
ReloVictory handles the contract, the quote and coordination. The legal side is handled by a lawyer (Francisco Romero Jiménez, Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Barcelona (ICAB), No. 33641). Tax and administrative matters are handled by Elena Zhukova Marchenko, tax and administrative specialist (graduada social), Colegio de Graduados Sociales de Barcelona, No. 5480. Which of them you need depends on the service.
Which types of Spanish residence permit do you handle?
Our main areas are Digital Nomad and residence renewals. We also work with residence without the right to work, family reunification, study, work residence, arraigo and documents. The basis is chosen to fit your situation: at the consultation we discuss it and prepare questions for the lawyer, and the lawyer gives a legal opinion once the contract is signed.
Do you work with companies?
Yes, but less often: most of our clients are private individuals, usually families. If you need a business registration or an intra-company transfer, describe your case on the contacts page and we will tell you what is possible and what it costs.
Which languages do you work in?
We work in Russian, Spanish and English. The site is in Russian for now; an English version will come later.
What language does the lawyer use with me?
The team’s lawyer works in Spanish, Catalan, English and French. Communication in Russian goes through the ReloVictory team, which prepares materials and questions for the lawyer. Who translates between you and the lawyer, and how, is set out in the contract.
Where are you based, and can I visit the office?
Our office in Barcelona: Calle Vilamarí 60, local 2, 08015 Barcelona. Visits are by appointment: write or call first on +34 613 625 197, which is also our WhatsApp. We work with clients in Barcelona, Malaga and Valencia, and remotely with people who still live in Russia or Ukraine.
How quickly do you reply?
We usually reply within a few hours during working hours. WhatsApp is the fastest.

Consultation and cost

How much does a consultation cost?
First conversation: 15 minutes free. We discuss your situation and prepare a list of questions for the lawyer. The lawyer gives a legal opinion after the contract is signed. If you need a full individual consultation, it costs €121 for 45 minutes. How the consultation works is described in the article on residence permit consultations in Barcelona.
How much does case handling cost?
There is no single price: it depends on the procedure, your family and the documents. We price each case individually and prepare a quote. You sign the quote before work starts; until then, no work on the case begins. What usually makes up the price is covered in the article on the cost of a residence permit with professional support.
What is included in the price and what is paid separately?
The price covers work on the case up to the authority’s decision, corrections in response to requests and resubmission. State fees (tasas) and translations are paid separately and appear as separate lines in the quote. Appeals are not included in the price.
How does payment work?
Prepayment: 50% before work starts and 50% before filing. The contract is signed electronically. Fees and translations are paid separately, as set out in the quote.
What should I prepare for the first consultation?
Just tell us what you want to achieve, where you live now, which country you are from and whether you are moving with family. There is no need to send documents in advance. To come prepared, you can go through the navigator on the contacts page: it works without sending any data.
Can I have a consultation remotely?
Yes. If you live outside Spain, book through the form or WhatsApp and we will agree on the format of the call. The first 15 minutes are free for everyone.
What is a quote, and can I turn it down?
The quote lists the work, state fees, translations and payment stages. Until you sign it, we start nothing, so you can ask questions, ask to change the scope of work or say no.

Documents and data

What details are needed for the first request?
Just your name and one way to contact you: WhatsApp, phone or email. You can add the service and a short description of your situation, but it is optional. Passport details and documents are not needed in the request.
Where do I send documents?
Email is better than the site form: the site has no document upload. Once we start work, we will tell you exactly what to send and where. We do not ask for passwords or verification codes.
Who sees my data?
ReloVictory staff and the team specialists who need it for your case: the lawyer, the tax and administrative specialist, translators. We take only what the procedure requires. Details are in the privacy policy.
Do you pass my data to partners?
Only if you ask for a service provided by a partner, for example with housing or a bank. In that case we pass your details to the partner for that service. The partner charges for its own service, and ReloVictory receives a commission from it, which we tell you about before passing on your data.
How do you handle data on children and family members?
Data on minors and other family members is provided by a parent or a person entitled to act on their behalf. We ask only for the information the procedure needs.
What happens to my request if I do not order a service?
If no service is ordered, the request and correspondence are deleted. Retention period before deletion: [request retention period to be approved by the company]. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

How the work goes

What are the stages of the work?
First a consultation: we discuss your situation and prepare questions for the lawyer. Then the quote, the contract and the first part of the prepayment; the lawyer gives a legal opinion after the contract is signed. After that we prepare and check the documents and file where the law allows a representative; where you must file in person, we accompany you. We answer the authority’s requests together with you, follow the case through to the decision and help with the steps after it.
How long will it take?
We split the timeline into two parts. Checking and preparing the documents is our part, and how fast it goes also depends on how quickly you send us the papers. We do not control the response times of government offices and are not responsible for them. For guide timelines on a specific procedure, see the service page, for example the section on Digital Nomad, and the article on how long the UGE takes to process an application.
Do I need to come to Spain before applying?
It depends on the procedure. Some residence permits are applied for from Spain, others through a consulate. Digital Nomad, for example, can be filed either way. We work out the route at the consultation, before you buy any tickets.
Who submits the documents?
We file the application ourselves where the law allows a representative: with a notarised power of representation (poder notarial), through apud acta or through a registered representative (article 197.4 of the Reglamento). Where the application must be made in person (at a consulate, arraigo under article 130.1), we prepare the file and accompany you. For an applicant who is in Spain, representation is governed by article 197.4 of the Reglamento; we tell you the arrangement for your case before you sign the estimate.
Do you help with housing, a bank account and registering a business?
Yes, on request: finding property (buying, selling, handling the transaction), opening an account, registering a business. Describe your case and we will tell you what is possible and what it costs. We bring in housing and banking partners under an intermediary agreement and tell you about the commission in advance. The topics are covered in the blog: housing, banking and money, business.
Do you help with translations and booking appointments?
Yes. We arrange sworn and standard translations, accompany you with an interpreter and book appointments with government offices (cita previa). Translation costs and fees appear as a separate line in the estimate. More on the documents and appointments page.

If something goes wrong

Do you guarantee approval?
No. The decision is made by the government authority. We prepare the case and handle it until the decision, but we do not promise the outcome or the response time, and we are not responsible for how long the authorities take.
What if the authority asks for additional documents?
We prepare the reply and the corrections, and this is included in the price. A request is not a refusal: it is often a way of asking you to clarify or complete the file. More in the article on requerimiento and subsanación.
What if I am refused?
We handle the case until the authority’s final decision. Corrections and resubmission are included in the price. An appeal is not included; we agree its terms separately. What usually lies behind a refusal is explained in the article on residence permit refusals, and for Digital Nomad there is a separate article on reasons for refusal and recurso.
What if I miss my appointment?
If the client does not turn up for an appointment, the booking has to be paid for again. If you cannot make it, let us know in advance.
Can I cancel the service and get a refund?
How the work is ended and how the unfinished part is refunded is set out in the contract and the estimate. By law, a consumer with a distance contract usually has 14 days to withdraw, with exceptions. We explain this before you sign. The general rules are in the terms of service.
Where can I file a complaint?
You can file a complaint at the office, Calle Vilamarí 60, local 2, 08015 Barcelona, by appointment, or write to info@relovictory.com.
